Brendan Griffin
Ceist:71. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he will be supportive of efforts to bring about an official visit from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to the State; his views that, amongst many other merits, such a visit would help market Ireland as a holiday destination for UK residents, particularly among the younger demographic; if he will make contact with the appropriate authorities to ensure that a formal invitation will be extended by the State; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
