271. Deputy Finian McGrath asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will confirm the premium payment under the retired Garda pension scheme which relates to the number of unsociable hours worked during time of service will be cut as part of the Labour Relations Commission proposal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer to my reply to Questions Nos. 117 to 119, inclusive, of 28 February 2013. The Labour Relations Commission proposals are not specific in relation to Garda pay or pensions, which is a matter for the Minister for Justice and Equality and Defence.
