312. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection the total amount of jobseeker's allowance issued to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare in respect of their recent claim which is now closed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [13833/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person concerned was paid a total of €100 on his recent jobseeker’s allowance claim. Arrears were withheld as he failed to attend the social welfare local office to explain why he did not collect a number of basic supplementary welfare payments while awaiting a decision on his jobseeker’s allowance.
