Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when applications under the equine technical and equine breeding schemes National Development Plan 2007 – 2013 will be decided; the number of applications on hand; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A total of 38 applications have been received for grants from this year’s allocation under the National Development Plan 2007-2013 Equine Technical and Equine Breeding Schemes. These applications are currently being assessed and it is hoped to conclude consideration of them in the next few weeks.
