211. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance if he will confirm the number of employment contracts at the Central Bank of Ireland that provide for termination bonuses, such as that recently reported in the case of the Financial Regulator. [18465/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraI am informed by the Central Bank that no other Central Bank employment contracts provide for termination bonus payments. For clarity, a total of 4 actuaries in the Central Bank have phased retention payments amounting to a potential maximum of approximately 14% of annualised salary for the period 2011 to end 2014 when the scheme ends. No other such payments are in place in the organisation.
