536. Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding the application for the Irish Shows Association grant aid for this year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18709/13]

My officials have considered a request for grant-aid by the Irish Shows Association and have recommended payment in 2013. The Irish Shows Association will be advised of the decision shortly.
