The forthcoming Sale of Alcohol Bill, which will repeal the Licensing Acts 1833 to 2011 and the Registration of Clubs Acts 1904 to 2008 and replace them with updated provisions, will provide an opportunity to review the eligibility criteria for the grant of various categories of alcohol licences and the conditions for the sale and consumption of alcohol in premises with such licences.
