292. Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Education and Skills if his Department has now completed the acquisition of land for a school (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23010/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs the Deputy is aware my Department sought the assistance of, and is working closely with, Kildare County Council in relation to the identification and acquisition of a site for the provision of permanent accommodation for the school to which he refers.
I can advise the Deputy that a suitable site has been identified. While negotiations are at an advanced stage with the relevant landowner, an acquisition has not yet been completed.
