564. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if Coillte will provide land for a car park (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [23729/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraCoillte Teoranta was established as a private commercial company under the Forestry Act 1988 and day-to-day operational matters, such as land transactions, are the responsibility of the company. Coillte has advised that a request in relation to the details provided by the Deputy had been conveyed to the company some weeks ago. I understand that the company has requested that the school involved contact the company directly to discuss the matter.
