588. Deputy Michelle Mulherin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the reason for the delay in having the vesting order completed in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Mayo; if same will be expedited immediately in view of the fact that this person is in financial difficulty and wishes to sell some of his land; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department is aware of the situation and is actively working to complete the Vesting Order where one title issue still has to be resolved. In this case, the re-arrangement involves 67 plots and 14 exchange agreements all of which are inter-dependent on each other for registration purposes. Unfortunately no one individual can be vested in isolation. Every effort is being made to complete this case as soon as possible.
