280. Deputy Peter Mathews asked the Minister for Education and Skills his plans to provide funding in respect of refurbishment for a school (details supplied) in County Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25691/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Major Building Project referred to by the Deputy is at an advanced stage of architectural planning. Stage 2b of the project, which includes Planning Permission, Fire Certification, Disability Access Certification (DAC) and the preparation of tender documents has been approved. The project was recently authorised to pre-qualify for contractors, which will complete the Stage 2b process. The project is scheduled on the five year school building programme to go to construction in 2015/16.
