359. Deputy Dan Neville asked the Minister for Social Protection the position regarding an application for domiciliary care allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [25159/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn application for Domiciliary Care Allowance was received from the person concerned on the 9th May 2013. This application was referred to one of the Department’s Medical Assessors who found the child to be medically eligible for the allowance. The person concerned was notified on the 22nd May 2013 that her claim is awarded. The first payment will issue to her on the 18th June 2013.
