395. Deputy Maureen O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Social Protection if there is any discretion for a person to take up a community employment scheme (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. [27283/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe eligibility criteria for the community employment scheme require that the applicant must have been receiving a jobseeker’s payment for 12 months at the time of making their application. As the person concerned finished receiving jobseeker’s payments on 26 March 2013 he does not meet the criteria, and is therefore ineligible for the community employment scheme.
