Amharc ar fhreagraA person, who is visa-required, wishing to come to Ireland to reside in the State with his/her parent, must submit an application for a "Join Family" visa. The applicant, or the person completing it on their behalf in the case of a minor, is required to submit their application and all relevant documentation to their nearest Consulate or Embassy. Where all the required documentation/evidence has been furnished and the Visa Officer is satisfied with the bona fides of the application, a D-type, long stay Visa would normally be approved.
