457. Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding a forestry premium in respect of a person (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29197/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraA remedial works letter issued to the applicant in March 2013 because his plantation was not up to the required standard. A report confirming that works have been completed has been received from the applicant’s forester and the Forest Service District Inspector has been notified. A site inspection is scheduled for the week ending 28th June 2013. The subsequent premium for 2013 cannot be paid until the plantation is deemed by the Forest Service to be up to the required standard.
