465. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a contract confirming a right of way will be finalised by Coillte in respect of lands (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [29397/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraCoillte Teoranta was established as a private commercial company under the Forestry Act, 1988 and day-to-day operational matters, such as land transactions, are the responsibility of the company. The company has, however, advised that a grant of a right of way from Coillte at the location mentioned by the Deputy was completed on 28th May 2013. It is noted that the grant was not to the person mentioned by the Deputy but may be a related person. The company has also advised that the grant and all relevant documents have been sent to this person’s solicitor.
