Deputy Dan Neville asked the Minister for Health if he will address the difficulties being faced by parents of children with diabetes who normally attend the consultant paediatrician specialising in diabetes in the Mid West Regional Hospital, as there is no specialist available, since the existing consultant went on leave (details supplied) [34637/13]

Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for Health the date on which the Health Service Executive will fill the paediatric diabetes consultant post in Limerick Regional Hospital, in view of the fact that since May a consultant paediatrician specialising in diabetes has been off sick and is not expected to return until October 2014.
