507. Deputy Emmet Stagg asked the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs if the Children Act 1991 will be amended to include after school crèche provision in the existing regulatory inspection system; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [42339/13]
Amharc ar fhreagraAmendments to provide for the regulation of after-school care are being brought forward as part of legislative changes necessary to provide for the establishment of the new Child and Family Agency. This legislation is currently being finalised in conjunction with Parliamentary Counsel and it is my intention to bring it before the Oireachtas during the current term.
