237. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a school (details supplied) will be provided with a new building as at present the school consists of a number of portacabins. [1350/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraResponsibility for the delivery of a new 16 classroom school referred to by the Deputy has been devolved to the Office of Public Works. The project is at the early stages of architectural planning and is one of the school projects approved to proceed to construction in 2014 that I announced last November. When construction will commence will be dependent on the progress of the project through the various stages of design and the local authority planning process.
