404. Deputy Pat Breen asked the Minister for Social Protection when a decision will issue on a domiciliary care allowance in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [3973/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraAn application for domiciliary care allowance was received on the 14th August 2013. The application was disallowed as the child was not considered to satisfy the medical qualification criteria for the allowance. A letter issued on the 6th November 2013 advising of the decision. A review of this decision has been requested and additional information on this child’s condition/care needs has now been supplied. The person concerned will be notified of the outcome of this review as soon as it is completed.
