Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if he will, in respect of his Department's audit committee, provide details of its current membership; the date of appointment of each member; the fees paid to each member; whether members of the committee are required to hold certain professional qualifications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. While members are not required to hold professional qualifications, they are appointed based on their experience relevant to the responsibilities of the committee. There are currently two external vacancies on the committee and arrangements are being finalised to fill these positions.
