Deputy Seán Kenny asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if discussions have taken place between the National Transport Authority and Dublin Bus regarding offering commuters cheaper fares for travelling on buses during off-peak times; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA), in conjunction with Dublin Bus, and I have forwarded the Deputy's question to the NTA for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
