Deputy Michael Healy-Rae asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources if the Government will agree to a once-off capital investment fund for the further modernisation of the post office network to enable the wide-spread provision of banking facilities in rural areas and disadvantaged urban areas; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
