334. Deputy Terence Flanagan asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if funding is available to mark an anniversary (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6721/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraMy Department’s funding for the built heritage in 2014 is concentrated on assisting conservation works to the fabric of structures protected under the Planning and Development Acts 2000-2012 and it does not operate a scheme for events as referred to in the Deputy's Question. I also understand that the closing date has passed for applications to the Heritage Council for grant aid under its Heritage Management Grants 2014.
