Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade when a decision will be made in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; if a decision is internal to his Department; if not, the process that is being followed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department has consulted with the Civil Service Occupational Health Department and the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform on this case. The request is still under consideration by my Department. A decision will be made shortly which will be communicated directly to the officer.
