309. Deputy Jerry Buttimer asked the Minister for Education and Skills the current expenditure on education at primary and second level in 2014; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13141/14]

Estimated 2014 current expenditure on education as requested by the Deputy is as follows: First-Level (including Early Schools Education) €3.232 billion. Second-Level & Further Education €2.975 billion.
