Deputy Barry Cowen asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform the number of times his Department received requests from Philanthropy Ireland to meet in 2011, 2012 and 2013; the number of times his Department met Philanthropy Ireland in those years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. In response to the Deputy's question I can confirm that no requests by Philanthropy Ireland to meet in 2011, 2012 or 2013 were received by my Department nor has my Department met with Philanthropy Ireland in any of those years.
