719. Deputy Barry Cowen asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government when will the compulsory purchase order for the lands at the tailing pond at the Silvermines, County Tipperary commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13926/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe functions conferred on me as nister in relation to the approval of proposals for the compulsory acquisition of land by local authorities were transferred under Section 214 of the Planning and Development Act 2000 to An Bord Pleanála. I therefore have no function in relation to this matter.
