994. Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health if the Health Service Executive is implementing the recommendation in the recent report by a person (details supplied) that patients sign claim forms on discharge from hospital; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12943/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe recent report by Pat McLoughlin on measures to reduce private health insurance costs contained a number of recommendations relating to admission and discharge procedures and processes. The HSE and all health insurers met last week to put a process in place to progress implementation of this and other recommendations and will continue to work together to deal with a range of admission and discharge issues.
