123. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection if mortgage interest support is available in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [15933/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe mortgage interest supplement claim of the person concerned was disallowed following a review of the applicant's circumstances. The designated person established that an entitlement no longer existed to mortgage interest supplement given the means of the applicant. The person concerned has been advised that it is open to him to submit an appeal to the social welfare appeals office.
