227. Deputy Luke 'Ming' Flanagan asked the Minister for Education and Skills the date of the decision to use workbooks in national primary schools; the persons involved in this decision; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16654/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraAs I stated in a previous reply to the Deputy, it is a matter for the Board of Management of each individual school to decide on its own school policy regarding whether or not workbooks are to be used in the school. Therefore, there was no decision made by the Department of Education and Skills or by any Minister to use workbooks in national schools.
