Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health if the sleep drug melatonin is covered by the long-term illness card scheme; if not, if and when a decision was taken to remove it from the scheme; the reason for that decision and the options that children and others with disabilities have to get the cost of their melatonin covered.
