504. Deputy Paul J. Connaughton asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the position regarding a 2013 single farm payment in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Clare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [25376/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named contends that he submitted his 2013 SFP application form to my Department by express post on 15th May 2013. In November of 2013 the person named submitted a completed SFP application form together with proof of postage from 15th May. However, the envelope when traced, using the express post receipt submitted, had been recorded by my Department as having contained a completely blank form and as such could not have been ascribed to any known applicant. The case is currently being examined further. The person named will be notified of the outcome once this review is finalised.
