507. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine further to Parliamentary Question No. 612 of 18 February 2014, the date that the letter issued to a person (detail supplied) from his Department; if he will confirm the receipt of a letter from Teagasc of 15 December 2013 relative to an appeal; if he will review the case and pay the outstanding farm payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. An official from my Department has been in direct contact with the person named and Teagasc regarding the issues raised by the Deputy. The case has now been reviewed and the appeal has been successful. Any outstanding payments on foot of this review will issue as soon as possible to the person named.
