Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to public concerns that a ward remains closed at St. Joseph's Care Centre, Dublin Road, Longford, while there is a backlog of patients awaiting transfers from the Dublin mid-Leinster regional hospitals to respite care in their home county of Longford; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
