Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the legal position regarding a complaint lodged by an individual (details supplied) in County Dublin in relation to allegations surrounding the Health Service Executive; and if for any Garda investigation to move it forward, it is correct that the HSE must cosign this complaint. While the Deputy will appreciate that, as Minister, I do not have a role in the management of criminal investigations, I have referred the Deputy's query to the Garda authorities for any observations they are in a position to make on this matter.
