Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Health the reason Cork University Hospital only has 1.8 whole-time equivalent diabetes nurse specialists in paediatrics covering over 400 children with diabetes when a minimum of 5.0 dedicated diabetes nurse specialists is needed; if these positions will be recruited; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
