233. Deputy Michael McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Skills the progress that has been made in securing a permanent site for a new school building (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [32419/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraI wish to advise the Deputy that my Department has been working in conjunction with Cork County Council to secure a permanent site to meet the needs of the school to which the Deputy refers. Whilst I can advise that options are under consideration, due to the sensitivities associated with land acquisitions generally I am not in a position to provide further information at this time. However I can assure you that every effort is being made to acquire a site.
