49. Deputy Derek Keating asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the position regarding a dedicated social welfare office in the Lucan area; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [36100/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe Lucan/Adamstown area has been designated by the Department for the provision of INTREO services. The OPW have been exploring options in the both Lucan and Adamstown for an Intreo Office and they are progressing a number of options with a view to obtaining a satisfactory solution. Given the limited choice of properties on the market and the unusual market conditions, this process is taking longer than expected.
