Deputy Dara Calleary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of farmers in counties Mayo and Roscommon who have received letters regarding overpayment of disadvantaged areas scheme; the reason for the delay in issuing these letters in the context of DAS being paid in October 2013; the total amount of money outstanding in counties Mayo and Roscommon; the arrangements that have been made for farmers with large repayment demands to spread the cost over time; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
