Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Health if he will provide a list of the acute hospitals where an x-ray is not available 24-7; if an on-call service is available in each case; if he will confirm that software is operational to allow results to be read remotely in each hospital; if he will confirm that a clear protocol is in place to have results read off site when a consultant is not available and out of hours; the steps he will take to provide appropriate cover where a 24-7 service in such hospitals; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
