165. Deputy Brendan Griffin asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the position regarding the tender process for the Kerry to Dublin public service obligation flight route; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [39429/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe current Public Service Obligation (PSO) air services contracts for the Kerry/Dublin and the Donegal/Dublin routes expires on January 31st next. My Department launched a call for tenders for public service obligation air services for both of these routes earlier this year and that process is still ongoing. As I am sure the Deputy will appreciate, it would therefore not be appropriate for me to comment further.
