422. Deputy James Bannon asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine when a disadvantaged area and single farm payment will be issued in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Longford; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [41380/14]
Amharc ar fhreagraThe person named applied for both the Single Payment and Disadvantaged Areas Schemes on 11th April 2014. An Official from my Department has been in regular contact with the person named in an attempt to resolve an outstanding issue on commonage land claimed by the person named for the first time in 2014. On receipt of the documentation requested by my Department, the application will be further processed with a view to any payment due issuing as soon as possible thereafter .
