Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality in view of recent court proceedings her plans to make amendments to existing procedures to allow staff of Go Safe to be in a position to provide evidence on behalf of gardaí; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe Deputy will appreciate that it would not be appropriate for me to comment on the outcome of individual court proceedings and that I have no role in the prosecution of offences. I am, however, informed by the Garda authorities that they are currently considering the outcome of the recent court proceedings referred to by the Deputy and I have asked to be kept informed of the outcome of this consideration.
