140. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Social Protection the reason a new application for dietary allowance is required in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare when a previous application was granted upon appeal; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [44094/14]

The person concerned has been in receipt of a dietary allowance since 1 September 2012. A review form issued on 30 July 2014 and to date has not been returned. In order to confirm continued entitlement and establish the correct level of payment, this form should be returned to her local Community Welfare Officer.
