Deputy Clare Daly asked the Minister for Education and Skills the reason students attending courses run by Solas and the education and training board do not have access to the enhanced broadband deals through campus which are available to most other third level organisations; and her plans to deal with the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraSpecial offers from private service providers for students undertaking Further Education and Training courses - which are provided by Education and Training Boards and others, and funded by SOLAS - are a policy/marketing matter for the companies in question. SOLAS and Education and Training Boards Ireland would welcome special deals for FET learners from private service providers.
