Deputy Seán Kyne asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport when the closing date for applications under the wheelchair accessible vehicle grant scheme 2014 was decided; when this date was announced on the relevant website; if force majeure circumstances will be considered for those deemed to have sent late applications; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Amharc ar fhreagraThe regulation of the small public service vehicle (SPSV) industry is a matter for the National Transport Authority (NTA) under the provisions of the Taxi Regulation Act 2013, including responsibility for the promotion of access to and the availability and affordability of SPSVs by persons with disabilities.
