Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of members of An Garda Síochána in County Longford, the number that is allocated to Longford town, Granard, Edgeworthstown, Ballymahon and Lanesboro; her plans to increase the number of gardaí in County Longford to deal with issues that have been highlighted by the Longford Joint Policing Committee; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
