Deputy Robert Dowds asked the Minister for Finance his views on the bankruptcy arrangements put in place in respect of a person (details supplied) who previously owed €1.2 billion to the Irish Bank Resolution Corporation, and therefore to the taxpayer and will now pay a total of €10,000 per year for two years before being absolved of all debts; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
