169. Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources when the revised guidelines on wind farms will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5138/15]
Amharc ar fhreagraWork is being advanced by the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government, in conjunction with my Department and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, on the review of the 2006 Wind Energy Guidelines in relation to noise, proximity and shadow flicker. It is proposed to update the relevant sections of the existing Guidelines on these specific issues. It is intended that the revisions to the 2006 Wind Energy Development Guidelines will be finalised as soon as possible.
